AssetSaver

Privacy Policy

How AssetSaver handles personal and asset-related information and supports controlled access and sharing.

Effective date: 18 August 2026

1. Who we are

AssetSaver is an asset organisation and stewardship service designed to help individuals, families and businesses keep asset records, responsibilities, evidence, dates and lifecycle history connected.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy describes the kinds of personal and asset-related information AssetSaver may handle when people use the public site, create or administer accounts, manage assets, collaborate with other people, or contact us.

3. Information we may collect

  • Account and contact information such as name, email, organisation and role.
  • Asset information such as identity, ownership, location, purchase price, estimated value, maintenance history, incidents and supporting records.
  • Information about people, companies and Care Providers connected to an account or asset where the user is authorised to record it.
  • Billing and subscription context associated with personal or company accounts.
  • Technical and security information reasonably required to operate, protect and diagnose the service.
  • Information supplied through enquiries, support requests and feedback.

4. How information is collected

Information may be provided directly by users, created while users organise their records, supplied by authorised people, or returned by approved external information services when those features are explicitly requested and available.

5. How we use information

  • Provide and improve AssetSaver features and account administration.
  • Keep asset records, reminders, documents, provenance and lifecycle history connected.
  • Support billing, account entitlements and customer service.
  • Respond to enquiries and operational communications.
  • Protect the service, investigate misuse and maintain appropriate audit evidence.
  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations that apply to AssetSaver.

6. Data Shield and sensitive information

AssetSaver Data Shield is the user-facing protection layer for visibility and sharing controls. The Zero Access Data Standard, or ZADS, identifies information that should receive stronger privacy treatment. ZADS Protected applies enhanced protection where controlled service access may still be required. ZADS Zero Access is reserved for data classes where the cryptographic design and key custody mean AssetSaver does not possess a usable or recoverable decryption key.

7. Sharing and authorised access

AssetSaver is designed around scoped access. Information may be visible to other authorised people within a personal or company account where the owner or administrators have granted that access. Care Providers and other stakeholders should receive only the context relevant to their permitted role.

8. Service providers and external sources

AssetSaver may use infrastructure, communications, payments, data, support and other service providers to operate the product. We publish information about providers, data sources, locations and certifications only where it reflects the service configuration in use.

9. Security

AssetSaver protects personal and asset information through account separation, access controls, provenance, operational safeguards and secure service practices appropriate to the product. No online service can promise absolute security, and users also have responsibilities for passwords, account access and the information they choose to share.

10. Retention and deletion

AssetSaver is designed to preserve useful asset history and not silently delete asset evidence merely because a plan or allowance changes. Retention and deletion practices follow product behaviour, account closure processes, legal obligations and applicable user rights.

11. Access, correction and questions

People may contact AssetSaver about access to, correction of, or questions about personal information associated with them. Requests may require identity or authority checks before information is changed or disclosed.

12. Cookies and website technologies

The public site and application may use essential cookies and similar technologies required for functionality and security. Analytics, preference or third-party cookie use is described in the Cookie Policy and should reflect the deployed configuration.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may change as AssetSaver features, providers, jurisdictions and data flows change. Material updates will be dated and published through this public route.

14. Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent through the AssetSaver Contact page.
